Kate Whyte’s Natural Path – Terms and Condition
​Naturopathic appointments/consultations agreement contract


​By accepting and paying for your first appointment(s), the client agrees to the following with Kate Whyte’s Natural Path

GENERAL FOR VIRTUAL CONSULTATIONS OR IN CLINIC
-You (the client) are welcome to have someone supporting you with completing your new client form.
-You are welcome to have a support person (friend, partner, family member) accompany you for your appointment.
-Children and teenagers under 18 years of age must be accompanied by a parent/ guardian for all appointments with Kate Whyte
​​-The client understands that Kate Whyte is not providing a diagnosis or medical service but is offering evidence-based education and support around diet and lifestyle changes to support your health.
​-Both the client and Kate Whyte Natural Path have the right to end the working relationship at any time. Kate Whyte may refer the client to a more suitable health professional.

  • During this time they will take notes about your health history, suggest appropriate lab tests for you, and make some recommendations regarding food, rest, movement and lifestyle.

If prior to the appointment we feel that our services are not appropriate for you we reserve discretion to cancel your appointment and refund full payment.



  • CONFIDENTIALITY FOR ALL THE SERVICES KATE WHYTE’S NATURAL PATH PROVIDES
    ​-Your personal information is collected and stored in accordance with The Privacy Act, New Zealand.
    -Clients of Kate Whyte are confidential, and all discussions within appointments and via email. However, there are some exceptions to confidentiality, which are discussed in your first appointment. If Kate Whyte has concerns about your safety or the safety of another person, confidentiality may be lifted.

    PAYMENT REGARDING ALL THE SERVICES OFFERED BY KATE WHYTE
    ​Payment is required in advance of all appointments.​
  • Payment is required in advance of all appointments and/ or health program packages.
  • For clients making payment via Stripe there is a fee which is established by Stripe
  • Clients paying online their Credit Card details are not detained by Kate Whyte’s Natural Path as the payment is processed by the third party in this case Stripe
  • Kate Whyte accepts payments only for consultations via bank transfer (NZ only). Health packages are to be paid in full via Stripe.
  • You are required to pay for sessions that are missed or cancelled with less than 48 hours notice.

    ONLINE APPOINTMENTS
    ​-Where an online appointment cannot take place owing to problems with either party’s Internet connectivity, the appointment will be rescheduled as soon as possible on a business day.

    CANCELLATIONS & NO SHOWS
    -If you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment, Kate Whyte asks for 48 hours’ notice.
    ​-Clients who do not show up for an appointment will not receive a refund.

    REFUNDS
    -If you pay for your first appointment or for a health program and wish to cancel after a 30% refund will be issued via Stripe. If follow up appointments for a health are not used within 3 months from your initial appointment date, no refunds will be given as it will be assumed you no longer require the appointments.
    -If you pay for an initial appointment and decide to cancel your appointment with less than 48 hours notice, no refund will be given as time in Kate Whyte’s calendar has been reserved for you, making it unavailable for others.


PROBLEMS & COMPLAINT


If you have a problem with Kate Whyte or the service that you have not been able to resolve, please provide Kate Whyte’s Natural Path with written details of your complaint.

Important Notes

I (Kate Whyte) am not a medical doctor; I do not service medical emergencies.  If you have a medical emergency, you must contact your primary care physician or dial your country’s emergency number.

Legal Issues
